Bringing viewers the 7th stand-alone episode in a collection of Keigo Higashino's best mystery short stories. One morning, an incident happens at Mikado Publishing where Yukiko (Erika Toda) works. Abe (Daikichi Sugawara), Promotions Director of Yukiko's section, fell from their office to his death and was discovered by the security guard on duty. Upon hearing the report, Detective Tamiya (Yusuke Santamaria) and his subordinate Nishioka (Shinnosuke Mitsushima) launch an investigation. They estimate his time of death to be between 9 and 11 p.m., when he was working overtime. While questioning the Promotions department, Tamiya learns from Yukiko that she’d been working overtime with Abe. According to her, Abe wasn’t acting unusual. Similarly, Morita (Yuta Hiraoka) was also working overtime but left before the others. After listening to everyone and conducting an on-site-inspection, Tamiya suspects it wasn’t suicide. However, he wonders how someone could have managed to get the massive Abe to fall if it was indeed murder. That night, Yukiko is followed home. Feeling uneasy, she picks up her pace only to have Morita appear before her. It seems he was interested in hearing what the detectives told Yukiko. Meanwhile, a shadowy figure watches the pair. Morita escorts Yukiko to her apartment, but a man is there. It's Nakamachi (Kento Senga)... Yukiko informs Morita that he's her brother. The next day, there’s another incident involving someone in Mikado Publishing's Promotions department. Their Assistant Director Sano (Houka Kinoshita) fell from a station platform and was hit by a train.
