In this drama of "revolutionary entertainment", a branch manager and his employees at a bank branch that's to be shut down attempt to turn the tables on their misfortune.
Its main character is a banker, Hiroshi Kataoka, who is a typical office worker who rolls with the unreasonable punches of his superiors so that he can survive at his workplace. However, he's filled with compassion for his hard-working employees and allies. As Kataoka approaches his 50th birthday, he receives a promotion, but his happiness is short-lived: his place of appointment is the Kamata branch which is doomed to shut down. The higher-ups have told him to take it easy, as the shutdown's a done-deal. After the shutdown, he'll have a good position at the headquarters. However, seeing the earnest effort of his employees targeted for layoffs has him concerned. To protect his employees, Kataoka combines their power to make a march on the bank's main headquarters.
