SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer; Eiichi Yonekura) launches its Japanese general entertainment channel “WAKUWAKU JAPAN” bundled with branded SVOD programs on AIS PLAY, operated by Advanced Info Services Public Company Limited (hereinafter AIS) in Thailand from March 13, 2020.

WAKUWAKU JAPAN uniquely delivers the best of Japanese content across multiple genres (from latest dramas to exciting game shows, from delicious food programs to exciting travel programs and everything in between) and with all eyes on Japan for Tokyo 2020, AIS was happy to carry WAKUWAKU JAPAN. The number of visitors from Thailand to Japan was 1,319,000 in 2019. This number was Thailand’s largest in its history and also the largest in South East Asia.
